Bra set manufacturing, from the cup to the matching brief
A bra set is two products that must look like one. Cup shape, wire, underband tension, lace direction and brief cut all have to be developed together, or the set photographs well and fits badly. We build bra sets in Dongguan with moulded cup, cut-and-sew, padded, unlined and longline constructions, matched to briefs, thongs or high-waist bottoms in the same fabric and dye lot.
- Cup sizes A to K, including plus-size construction
- Lace, embroidery, mesh, satin and bonding constructions
- Set components cut from the same dye lot so the colour matches
- MOQ 1,000 pcs per style per colour, sampling 2–3 weeks

Bra constructions we produce
Each construction has a different cost structure and a different fit risk. Knowing which one you are buying is the difference between a good and a bad quotation.
Moulded cup
Heat-formed foam cups for a smooth, seamless outer surface. Fast to produce, consistent shape, limited lace placement on the cup.
Cut-and-sew
Multiple fabric panels sewn into shape. The construction that carries lace and embroidery best, with the most design freedom.
Longline and bustier
Extended underband or boned panels for shaping. Popular in fashion sets and bridal ranges.
Wire-free and bonded
Seamless bonding or circular knitting for comfort positioning, with laser-cut edges and no visible stitching.
Padded and push-up
Removable or fixed padding, graduated push-up inserts, and structure reinforcement for larger cup sizes.
Bralette
Soft cup, no wire, lace or mesh body. Lower cost, faster sampling, strong in young fashion ranges.
Why the set has to be developed together
Bra and brief are cut from different panels of the same fabric. If they are booked separately, the colour drifts and the set looks mismatched under retail lighting.
Colour and dye lot
Both components are cut from one dye lot, and pre-production colour approval happens before cutting.
- Single dye lot per order
- Lab dip approval first
- Batch matching on repeat orders
- Colour checked under retail lighting
Lace direction and scale
Lace has a direction and a repeat. Cup and brief must be cut so the pattern lines up at the seam.
- Lace direction marked at cutting
- Scale matched to cup size
- Seam placement planned at sampling
- Trim quantities calculated per set
Bra set sampling, step by step
Construction choice
You pick moulded, cut-and-sew, bonded or bralette. This decides cost and fit risk before any sample is made.
Cup and wire selection
Cup mould, wire type and underband elastic are matched to the size range you sell.
First sample
2–3 weeks for a physical sample in the actual fabric, with the matching brief.
Fit round
We fit across the size range, not only the middle size, and adjust grading before bulk.
Bulk cutting
Bra and brief cut from the same dye lot, lace direction marked, trims counted per set.
Final QC
Cup symmetry, wire position, strap attachment and colour match are checked at AQL inspection.
Extended sizes without losing the shape
Plus-size bra sets fail for structural reasons: the underband rolls, the wire digs, the strap stretches. Fixing that means wider underband elastic, stronger wire casing, reinforced side panels and a re-graded cup — changes made at pattern stage, not at sewing.
We produce A to K cups and have specific experience in plus-size development and grading, including fit sampling across the full range before bulk production starts.

Where your order is actually made
These are our own workshops in Dongguan, not a trading office. Cutting, sewing, bonding, moulding, QC and packing all happen in the same compound, which is why we can hold a 60–90 day bulk lead time without depending on outside subcontractors.

Certifications your buyer will ask for
We are audited and certified, and we hand over the paperwork with the goods. Social compliance, quality management, environmental management and product safety are covered before you place the first order — not promised after.
Send your tech pack or reference sample
Tell us the style, the fabric and the quantity you have in mind. We reply with a price range, a sampling schedule and the MOQ for that specific style — usually within one working day.
- Sampling in 2–3 weeks
- Bulk lead time 60–90 days
- MOQ 1,000–3,000 pcs per style per colour
